How do I authorize my MS Office Apps?

Read this closely, you will NOT use your email address to sign in to Office! Instead, Microsoft assigned each of you a special onMicrosoft.com address. For example, Phil would have to sign in using philP@thePriceCompany.onMicrosoft.com.

This has to be done once for each user on a computer

  1. Launch Microsoft Word from the Start Menu
  2. If it says “sign in to get the most out of office” in the upper-right corner, click it and sign in using your username@thePriceCompany.onMicrosoft.com Microsoft account
    • Click your name and “switch account” if it isn’t using username@thePriceCompany.onMicrosoft.com
  3. if it asks to add this account to Windows, say yes

If your regular password does not work or Microsoft makes you change it… Reset your Microsoft password
