Read this closely, you will NOT use your email address to sign in to Office! Instead, Microsoft assigned each of you a special onMicrosoft.com address. For example, Phil would have to sign in using philP@thePriceCompany.onMicrosoft.com.
This has to be done once for each user on a computer
- Launch Microsoft Word from the Start Menu
- If it says “sign in to get the most out of office” in the upper-right corner, click it and sign in using your username@thePriceCompany.onMicrosoft.com Microsoft account
- Click your name and “switch account” if it isn’t using username@thePriceCompany.onMicrosoft.com
- if it asks to add this account to Windows, say yes
If your regular password does not work or Microsoft makes you change it… Reset your Microsoft password
When using Word to activate Microsoft Account for Griselda it repeatedly told me that griseldaa@thePriceCompany.onMicrosoft.com does not exist. I tried variations and on one occasion of cancelling the process it displayed a message that the product is now activated.
